A sturdy mesh backrest is tensioned between the load bearing frame components. This system keeps the child carrier from coming in direct contact with your back. Moist air can freely escape through the three-sided ventilated system preventing heat build-up. Deuter's Vari-Quick adjustment system allows you to change users of the pack easily and it comes with separate sun and rain protecting hoods for the child. It has no real weight limitations but the child has to be old enough to support their own head. It has a fold out stand so you can take a break and sit down without taking the child out of the carrier.
