Extendable slings and a unique cam design make Trango FlexCams extremely versatile pieces of protection when you're climbing irregular cracks. The smallest five sizes (.5-4) use directly opposed cams to reduce head width and allow solid placements in super-shallow cracks. You can even use them with only two cams in the crack for aid placements in bottoming cracks and pin scars. Thumb loops on all sizes provide a short clip-in point to give you extra reach for aid climbing, while the doubled UltraTape slings extend to reduce rope drag on wandering trad climbs. Trango FlexCams are also extremely light, so they won't hold you down when you cast off on a 180ft pitch of steep cracks.
